Street Dance International (SDI) is now sponsoring Dancing in the South East.
SDI were formed in the late 1990’s and have been leading the streetdance industry in developing the style, involving all dance teachers and giving opportunities to the dancers they teach, that they would otherwise not have had.
The SDI philosophy is quite simple. Membership is open to any dance teacher who has an interest in streetdance! So why not join the SDI and get your dancers to take part in SDI competitions and championships where they have events for solos, pairs, groups and teams with different age groups from under 8 to over 18 and grades including complete beginners.
The SDI membership continues to grow rapidly and there is a projected growth which should bring the professional membership close to 500 by the end of 2009.
Their website is currently being redesigned and should be brought up to date shortly so please check back regularly.
Yearly membership of the SDI is £15 and if you are a streetdance teacher and not a member we would like to invite you to join us. If you would like to join then please contact the SDI Office on 01582 455407 and they will email you or send by post to you an application form.
